What the BACP asks
From 3 November, clause 4.5(e) of the Ethical Framework asks every member to "ensure we have a clinical will in place and have appointed an executor who, bound by confidentiality, can communicate with clients and service users if we are unable to contact them ourselves, or if we die."

It applies to all members who work with clients, not only those in private practice.

Does this meet the BACP requirement? BACP asks for a clinical will and a named executor. ClearPractice helps you write the will following GPiA 104 and records your executor. You still agree it with your executor and keep it up to date.
